Mangalore, Feb 15: “India is a country different from all others. We are in a country which celebrates different religions, castes, and diversity,” said Prof Yogendra Yadav, executive member, Aam Aadmi Party, after symbolically inaugurating the party in the district in a function held in the city.

He added that our forefathers rejected the European ideology of one religion, one language, one state and instead believed in unity in diversity.

Prof Yadav explained the ideology of the party saying that when people ask him how a tiny party such as his could face the monsters his reply would be, “We have the blessing of the people of this country where a great revolution took place through small groups. We hope that we will succeed.”

“Our country has plenty of resources, wealth, and even a lot of problems like needy people who do not have food and shelter to lead a peaceful life,” said Prof Yadav.

While talking of building the Aam Aadmi Party politically, he said, “Our country’s systems, politics, and education are poor and we are made intellectual slaves by the politicians. Politics is the only the way to change and transform the society and to root out the ills. Joining politics and making the country better is real ‘Yuga Dharma’. Though we are a tiny party we have the moral strength, truth, and blessings from the ‘Aam Aadmi’ and we hope to achieve success.”

Talking about the forthcoming elections Prof Yadav said, “We will not compete the elections this time. We will first strengthen ourselves.”

I greatly admire the top leadership of AAP. New party will have great future in Mangalore. All who love AAP must make themselves familiar with its constitution and administrative structure. AAP in its constitution promises equal representation for men and women. Having said that I see a lot of ladies in the inauguration picture but none on the dais/stage. Why this patriarchy/male dominated picture in the beginning itself?

Thanks for such an overwhelming response - proves that most of Daiji readers are aware of what is happening in the country. Some have commented negatively without knowing the reality that is striking our motherland, God bless them, we do not want to say anything to them.
But just a few thoughts and clarifications of AAP:
AAP has been built on the strong foundations of Swaraj, which means power and rule to the PEOPLE, not to the POLITICIANS.
AAP is a totally People's Party - it does not remember people only during election time but always.
We are not aiming at the elections, but for people oriented programs and to bring about a change in the society. We are trying to achieve what Mahatma Gandhi said "Until you wipe the tears of the last person standing, you have not achieved Swaraj". We know it is crazy to expect this in today's India, but we are hopeful, we are trying and we will at least have our conscience tell us that we tried to do something.
Our party constitution (refer aamaadmiparty.org) clearly tells that our elected representatives (whenever that happens in the future) will not use red lights on their govt cars, will not stop public life and traffic for their movements and will not live in plush govt bungalows. This is the oath that our members will take.
We are a secular party in the way it was intended to be in our Constitution and not how some of the existing political parties have defined it. We will not arouse the majority against minorities, nor will we appease minorities. The fact that people from all religions and all walks of the society seeking our membership is a proof of this.
And finally, this is YOUR fight, as much as it is OURS. Dont just sit there and comment, join us. We can change, together. This is the moment of our history that we have been waiting for, we know it is hard, but it is NOT IMPOSSIBLE. We need your help - hands, shoulders, feet, heads...funds too. May the Universal God bless you, Jai Hind.

    1. Why did he back stab Anna Hazare?
    2. Why is he shielding the most corrupt multi billionaire in UPA - Mr. Sharad Power?
    3. Trusts are used to legitimize black money. Why does he run a trust?
    4. Why is he branded as hit and run artist?

In grampanchayat election our own KNOWN neighbourwood peoples are elected, what is the use? they to do the same with small amount of budget allocated for development. in AAP also same people will be there right?? Again to run a party and party workers only slogans are not enough. Its bitter but reality.

Prof. Yadav, Just as you agree the fact that some of your forefathers could not accept the European ideology of one religion, one language, one state and instead believed in unity in diversity, we too can't accept the Hindutva ideology of "Unity in Diversity" which has brought a shame and disgust to different communities in India. Where was European Ideology was wrong when they tried to implement in India? We need to first stop our foolish ideologies which haven't given us growth so far and try implementing the European Ideology which might possibly a good recovery to our sick India and it will for sure. Implementing the Ideology of one religion, one language, one state European countries are far better than us in their every sector. It's time for us to come out of corrupt ideologies and practice their ideology to see improvements for ourselves and the whole of India atlarge..!

It will be wise to adopt the system where we are now?, Why we are so lack of real life?, What we must think? What type of life we must live? What is the real meaning of progress that we need in our society? and how to achieve it in a simple way?

Even this new political party started with stupid thinking about religion, old blind believes culture, and so on……!!!!

What we need especially in India is religion should make, as personal right and its practice should be each individuals choice. Education should be basic duty of every citizen that means every citizen must have a minimum education at least 12th standard. All the states must have one common language in government offices including media. Political party members should not allowed taking prime seat during any religious celebration. All the political leaders must have a minimum post graduation degree and must serve a minimum 5 years in military. Supreme Court should check their background before they contest the election. If any person changes his political party, more than two times in 10 years need to consider as fraud. Daily food, shelter to all, Education to every citizen, and clean air, water, and atmosphere should be the prime agenda.

I am dreaming for this and waiting from 1947 onwards……
