Udupi: Raghupati Bhat welcomes move, thanks CM

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SM)

Udupi, Feb 8: MLA Raghupati Bhat lauded chief minister Jagadish Shettar for successfully presenting the budget despite all the confusion and controversies leading up to the budget.

Bhat thanked the CM and revenue minister Eshwarappa for declaring Brahmavar as taluk in the new budget, and thereby accepting the demands of the Brahmavar Taluk Formation Committee.

"The CM had assured this move two weeks ago when Udupi district incharge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Byndoor MLA Laxminarayan and I had personally met the Cm and forwarded the request."

He added that with this, except for rejuventing Brahmavar sugar factory, all the election promises had been fulfilled by the BJP.

Some years back Indian Railways changed the 3rd class travel category into 2nd class travel category giving hopes that the up-gradation would benefit the 3rd class passengers. But nothing has changed. Now Karkataka Govt has created Taluks. Nothing will change, but the same thing will continue.

By the by who will implement this announcement? Will they( BJP) orwill they not as 60 days are left to wind up operations in Karnataka... - ISMAIL

Anna Ismail, Don't worry. IT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED BY BJP. Congress could not do this in last 60 years and they will not be able to do also. 60 days are left to finish the FIRST TERM. BJP will clear the exam and rule for SECOND TERM.

We people knows very well about CONGRESS CAPABILITY. So far they could not handle TELAGANA issue which is taking place from over decades.

Your congress has sold out KASHMIR to PAK and Arunachal Pradesh to China. Forget creating new taluks, districts etc. They can not handle the existing taluks, districts, states, UTs.

Yes, it is a good news.

Congress only engulfed resources in Byndoor, Moodabidiri and Brahmavara and rest of the places in Karnataka.

We had done so many strikes, protests to get this done. Only BJP Govt understood our pain. We are very thankful for the BJP Govt.

ONLY BJP MAKES PEOPLE LIFE EASIER and BETTER.
