Doha: Countdown Begins for Gurukiran Nite as Artistes Arrive

Doha, Nov 22: 'Gurukiran Nite' an evening of Kannada,Tulu and Hindi music and mimicry, led by Kannada's well-known and dynamic music director and singer Gurukiran, will be staged at Regency Hall, Doha on Friday November 23 from 5.30 pm.

The team of 18 members comprising musicians, dancers and mimicry artistes arrived at the Doha International Airport on Thursday November 22.

Organizer of the event Bunts Qatrar president Ravi Shetty and executive committee members were present at the airport to receive the artistes. All the artistes were welcomed with bouquets.

Gurukiran, four-time Filmfare awardee and state award winner, and his team will perform non-stop during the three-hour musical entertainment.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Gurukiran said that he and his team are upbeat about the show and looking forward to provide a memorable evening for the music lovers of Qatar.

Apart from Gurukiran, popular mimicry artiste Dayanand is also all set to delight the audience.

Playback singers Chethan, Anuradha Bhat Chaitra (state award winner), drummer Deva, compere Anushree Sampath, and Dayanand arrived with other musicians along with Gurukiran.
