Bangalore, Aug 18: The Bangalore-based Brilliant Printers Pvt Ltd, which has earned a name for itself as a quality printing company having the state-of-the-art printing machinery and capability of printing over 10 million books annually, had the blessing and dedication of its new and spacious work premises in the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board’s industrial area at Bashettahalli in Doddaballapur, in the city outskirts on Saturday August 18.

Archbishop of Bangalore Dr Bernard Moras blessed the sprawling and spacious premises with a total production area of 84,000 sq. ft. and the most modern and sophisticated printing machinery, at a simple function in the factory premises attended by close family friends, business associates and the employees. Karnataka Bank Ltd Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer P Jayarama Bhat, who has been closely associated with the company since its humble beginning under late A V Rego in 1970 and its present pre-eminent position in the printing world, was the chief guest at the dedication ceremony.

The Archbishop blessed the statues of St Joseph, the patron of workers, and Mother Mary of Lourdes installed prominently in the premises signaling the deep religious moorings of the Rego family, especially Mrs Irene Rego and her three sons – Anil , Sunil and Manil – who have been running the company since the last several years. Later he unveiled the photo of late A V Rego, which is prominently displayed inside the premises.

The blessing and dedication ceremony was a simple and dignified affair with prayer service.

The Archbishop congratulated Mrs Irene Rego and her three sons for quite efficiently and ably running the company started by A V Rego and said the family’s commitment to society and all customers were exemplary. ''The unity, dedication and commitment of the three brothers with maternal guidance are the secret behind the success of Brilliant Printers,” he said showering God’s choicest blessings on the company.

Karnataka Bank Managing Director and CEO P Jayarama Bhat recalled that he was intimately involved and associated with the growth of the company, which has been the Bank’s most valued customer since its inception. “The company has grown leaps and bounds and has reached a niche in printing circles under the dynamic and result-oriented leadership of the three sons of late A V Rego,” he said wishing them a brilliant success in the coming years.

I remember the personal tour you gave us of the premises at L'halli, way back in 2006/07. There was something endearing about a family persevering towards a vision, today that calling has grown into a rich legacy that speaks of commitment, consistency and credibility. Wish you and the team the very best.

I have watched with admiration the growth of Brilliant Printers at least for a decade or so and I must say that each time I visited, there were pleasant surprises signaling significant growth, not just in terms of production but more so in building relationships! As much as I wanted to be present at the inauguration, I could not make. Be assured of our support. On behalf of the IEM General Secretary, Rev P John Wesley, I congratulate Mr Anil Rego and his family, Madam Ahalya Ananth and her team for their service with a smile, the front office for responding to telephone calls respectfully. Full steam ahead!! God bless
