Ghaziabad, May 24 (PTI): A local court here is likely to pronounce its order on framing of charges in the Aarushi-Hemraj twin murder case on Thursday after counsel for both sides concluded their submissions on Wednesday.
TALWARS ELITE COUPLE
Defence counsel contended that the Talwar couple were practising doctors, had an inter-caste marriage and belonged to the elite class of society and could not have stooped to a level of provocation so as to kill their only daughter.
Defence also refuted the CBI's case that since there were four people in the house, the onus was on Nupur and Rajesh to explain what happened on the fateful night of May 15-16, 2008.
