Mumbai: Child Prodigy Krushi Harish Shetty (13) Passes Away

Mumbai, Apr 10: Child prodigy 13-year-old Krushi Harish Shetty, son of Yermal Harish Shetty, a resident of suburban Borivali (West), executive member of Charkop Kannada Balaga, social activist, philanthropist and active member of metro based Bunts Sangh passed away at Hinduja Hospital, Mahim (West) here on Monday April 9, owing to brief illness.

Krushi Shetty was an amateur stage artiste and student of Swami Vivekanand International School, Borivali. He was the founder member of Kalajagattu Chinnara Bimba, children’s play troupe at Borivali – Kandivali.  He had acted in lead roles in many Tulu plays and Yakshagana mythological episodes 'Mahishasura Mardini' and 'Babruvahana'.

He is survived by his parents and brother. The last rites were held at the crematorium at Babayanaka, Borivali on Monday April 9 night, attended by hundreds of artistes, Bunts community.
