Robert Furtado (58), son of Antony and Remedia Furtado, husband of Premila Furtado, father of Rashmi, Dr. Roshni and Raveena Furtado, passed away on Monday August 10, 2020.

Funeral cortege leaves residence Mabukala for St. Anthony Church, Sasthan on Friday August 14 at 3.00 pm followed by final rites.

Mortal’s remains will be kept in church portico from 3.15 PM to 3.30 PM for public viewing.

I am shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic demise of Robert Furtado. He was my student. We were always in touch with each other. He used to visit me whenever I needed his help in relation to setting up a bakery unit in our mess. He trained our staff too.
A public spirited, and loving person, he has left an indelible impression on any one whom he has once met. He was very respectful and loving towards his teachers. I am one of those who enjoyed his love and affection.
My heart goes out to the family of Robert and pray to God to grant them the peace and the comfort they need so badly at this time. I am not able to meet with all of you personally as the Covid protocol doesn't permit me to do so.
My prayers will be with all of you. May the Lord grant Robert's soul eternal peace which he richly deserves. God bless you all. Thank you.
