Sr M. Mirabelle BS (101), of Bethany Congregation, member of Sacred Heart Convent, Ludhiana, daughter of the late Piedade Gonsalves and the late Bridget Silva of Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar, Mangalore, passed away on February 25, 2020.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Convent Chapel, Ludhiana at 3.00 pm on Thursday, February 27.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing away of our beloved Sister Mirabelle
When we were in Ludhiana from 1983 to 1988 we were staying very close to your Convent and Sr Mirabelle was almost our Guardian and a friend in case of our needs. She was in charge of the kitchen and was generous in helping the poor and needy. We remember her with nostalgia and pray that her noble soul may rest in peace. Thank you.

I have met Sr. Mirabelle in Ludhiana many years ago when I was in the North. I used to get news about her crossing Centenary from my sister Norilla. Even recently her health was not good and was hospitalized Norilla informed me.She worked hard and lived a long life as God gave her this gift of celebrating her centenary of birth last year. Now the Lord called her to her eternal reward. May she enjoy the eternal bliss with the Lord and the permanent rest which she deserves much. May all her relatives be comforted.

Rest In Peace Sister Mirabelle. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Sr. Mirabelle is my Late mother’s first cousin. Her Late mother Bridget from Kanadka, Kulshekar was my Late Grandmother’s (Roza D’Silva / Castelino of Mundrel, Kudupu, Mangalore) younger sister.

I am writing this here to inform my extended family those who are unaware that Sr. Mirabelle is our relative and a Nun who was living in Sacred Heart Convent, Ludhiana. We pray that our Lord accept her in His Kingdom with open arms.
