Gladys Rita Magdalene D’Souza (101), wife of the late Joachim Lawrence D’Souza, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Mangalore.

Gladys D’Souza was born on March 30, 1918 in Rangoon, Burma. Married to (late) Joachim D'souza, Chief Engineer, Port Commissioners, Rangoon, Burma, in 1941. She is the only daughter of Casimir & Annie Currie. Mother of the late Gloria / Rompar Lobo, the late Pamela / Joseph Minezes, Norma / Avitus D’Sa, Trevor / Winfred, Christopher / Patricia, only sister of Archibald, Oswald, Ralph, Basil & Darwin (Bunoo) (all deceased). Grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 17. Numerous nephews & nieces.

Funeral Mass cortege leaves residence for Nympha Sadan Chapel, next to Holy Rosary Cathedral, Mangalore, followed by the Mass on Thursday, July 4 at 3.30 pm.
