My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
I have nostalgic memories of Pilinguri House and its caring residents. I was a primary school student in Thodambil/Pachinadka school nearby. I and some other students were allowed to have our lunch (Buthi) in this house where more things were lovingly added to our plates by Mary Odlimai, with Paul Aab benignly watching the scene.
On reading the obituary notice a thought passes my mind that Mother Lucina may have inspired and given the lead for four more of her siblings to follow her example and dedicate their life for the Lord’s service.
PS: Why Pilinguri House? It was once supposed to be an abode of tigers (Pili). As a school boy I have seen a tunnel behind the house which was said to be once the residence of tigers. Or, was this tale invented to keep nosy boys like me from straying into their backyard?

Sr. Lucina was the eldest in our extended family. When we met a few year ago, she was chirpy as a teenager and full of humour, recollecting family stories. Most of her life was spent in God's service Our deepest condolences to Sr. Saveria, Cellybai, Frs. Vally and Denis, Sr. Celine and the rest of the family. We pray that God grant her soul eternal rest.

I was privileged to have Mother Lucina's darshan everytime I was at Bethany Convent Bangalore. It was a joy to see her energetic, smiling and prayerfulfulness. I loved to see her and get her blessing. During the last two years she looked rather weak as she crossed the century but kept up her smile. A courageous religious whom God blessed with long life. May she have the eternal rest and bliss with the Lord . Condolences to the Provincial and the sisters, her family members and specially those who cared for her during the last few years.
