'Benazir's Death Caused by Laser Beam Shots'

Islamabad, Jan 5 (mb): The death of former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto was caused by a laser beam shot, the Pakistan People's Party claimed citing a medical report.

Unveiling the medical report on Friday, PPP senator Dr Babar Awan claimed that Benazir Bhutto suffered an open head injury with depressed skull fracture leading to cardiopulmonary arrest.

The report has been signed by a team of seven doctors, headed by Dr Mussadiq Khan.

"The X-ray reports suggested that there were two to three tiny radio densities under each fractured segments on both projections which were in fact invisible electromagnetic radiations. After these medical reports there was no need for further post-mortem or exhumation,'' Awan was quoted by The News as saying.

Awan said there was an oval shape fracture on the skull and was visible in X-report that was part of the medical report. He said the Punjab Governor should not issue statements on autopsy and exhumation of Benazir’s body, as the medical report clearly proves that her death was not caused by the lever of the sunroof of her vehicle as was claimed by the Interior Ministry spokesman.

"We will provide this report only to the UN-sponsored commission as evidence," he added.

He, however, clarified that the PPP never accused the armed forces of murdering Benazir Bhutto.
