Bantwal: Womens Day celebration held at Carmel College Modankap

Bantwal, Mar 11: International Women’s Day was celebrated by the Women’s Cell of Carmel College, Modankap at the college auditorium recently.

Jestalaxmi B, chief officer, Counselling Psychologist & Life Skill Trainer, Mangaluru was the chief guest for the programme. She stressed the importance of education for women and their empowerment. She presented a beautiful PPT about self-confidence.

Students of the college presented a skit with a meaningful message.

The chief guest honored the winners of the poster making competition.

Principal Dr Sr Latha AC, in her presidential address, expressed the importance of respecting women.

Women cell co-ordinator, Chandrika Rao, secretary Nishmitha of III BCom were present on the dais. Shafeeka of II BCom compered the programme.
