Kuwait, Jan 21: The eighth Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Billava Sangha was held on January 15, through a Zoom online webinar.
The event commenced with a prayer by Sanskrati S Poojary followed by lighting of the lamp by BSK committee member Mithun Vishwanath in the presence of BSK management and members.
Master of the ceremony, Rajesh Kunder welcomed the president and all the BSK members. President, Krishna Poojary in his welcome speech appreciated all the committee members for working with unity towards the upliftment of the community.
The general secretary, Raghav Poojary presented the annual report mentioning the activities carried out in 2020 and briefed about the constitution amendment, while treasurer Venugopal read out the financial report for 2020, both of which were approved by the members.
The welfare officer, Prabhakar Bola spoke about the scholarship programme, food kit distribution during Covid 19 lockdown and other welfare activities conducted during 2020.
On behalf of BSK, Prabhakar extended his best wishes to ‘Friends Tuluver Group Kuwait’ formed by BSK member, Dheeraj Salian.
The highlight of the function was the cultural programme, which was very well organized by the cultural secretary Jayalaxmi Vishwas and team. BSK kids and adults exhibited their talent in dancing, singing and skit which entertained the audience. Karthik Kadekar, a renowned music composer in his hometown edited the cultural videos which added more flavor to the event.

Re-elected president, Krishna Poojary addressed the gathering and requested the full cooperation of all the committee members in fulfilling his duties towards the sangha.
