Mangaluru, Jan 15: In an accident which happened near the Gurpur bridge on the evening of Thursday January 14, a lady was injured. By arranging to shift her to hospital, Dakshina Kannada MP and state BJP president, Nalin Kumar Kateel, showed his humanitarian side.
Nalin was going to Kandavara via Gurpur by car. When crossing Gurpur bridge, he saw that a lady had suffered injuries and fallen on the road, after the wheels of her two-wheeler skidded. She had sustained injuries in her head and forehead.
Nalin, who got down from the car, helped to hospitalise her with the help of locals. Social media sites soon filled with appreciation for Kateel for his humane act.
