Kaup, Dec 4: Shivananda Acharya (23) from Ulloor - Kemundelu in Ellur village near Padubidri ended his life by hanging himself from a cashew tree on Thursday, December 3 morning.

Acharya, after completing PU education was undertaking centering work. On Thursday morning, he was found missing from home. During a search, he was found to be hanging from a cashew tree located near his house.

So far, reasons for his sudden decision to end his life could not be ascertained. A case of unnatural death was registered at Padubidri police station and the police have begun the probe.
