The Christian community, is well known for their selfless service in social, health and educational sectors across our nation.. Dakshin Kannada district is blessed after the inauguration of a hospital dedicated to the mentally challenged patients... We are living in a highly stressed environment... The rising cases of Depression, Bipolar affective disorder, Schizophrenia, is a clear indication to the malady affecting the young and the old in our society... We need more such institutions, in every city and towns, to detect and cure patients, by admitting them in such mental asylums and rehabilitation centers....

St. Antony's ASHRAM has all along cared for the needy and the wanting people. Their present director Father Anil has been there for a while and he indeed provides more than adequate care to the needy.
His inspirational services every Tuesday at Milagris Church are a reminder of his MISSION. It is my thought, wish and prayer that like minded people support this great cause.

It was indeed kind of Our Bishop Peter Paul to make time to attend this event.
