Udupi: Death of woman under suspicious circumstances - Lover unravels mystery

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Oct 30: The police have been continuing with their probe into the death of Rakshita Nayak from Kukkehalli here under suspicious circumstances. Prashant Kunder, said to be having an affair with the girl, and who is being questioned by the police, has given out some information.

He confessed that Rakshita often urged him to marry her but he did not agree. He said that he treated Rakshita as a friend. It is said that after Prashant's wife learnt about their relationship, she took both of them to task.

It is said that Rakshita was not aware that Prashant was already married. Supposedly, after learning about this, she came under psychological pressure, and for this reason, she would have committed suicide.

The doctors have informed that Rakshita had consumed liquor on the day she died. It is guessed that after calling Prashant after having liquor, she would have hanged herself. However, the police have not yet come to a conclusion in the case. They are awaiting the post-mortem report.

One to One married relationship is always better. When second one comes in between all sorts of problems. Finally story could end up in death, jail..etc

So better think all this before marriage and after marriage always reconcile by end of the day or sooner so to avoid more problems and second one.

Lust is blind; positive & negative always attract each other blindly in moments of intense heat; & from there the story starts; reasons could be multifactorial!!

The converse of general opinion, here, is also true as there are many women who get married for namesake & secretly enjoy with their paramours, sometimes even with close relatives, some later on blackmail the man eyeing his property (see CRIME PATROL)!

Just day before there was a case in Mumbai where the mother was killed by the daughter after she saw her in a compromising situation with her lover! Such news is very common in Metro cities!

Then there are so many horror stories wherein the entire girls family file fake cases to usurp the property of the husband! There are innumerable such cases in mangalore too!

So, irrespective of this news, it is not always prudent to blame the men only!

Before my marriage, I was a member of SVP in Gloria Church, Byculla. Along with another member, I was visiting poor families in allotted areas in Sankli Street, Clare Road and Love Lane. Also we were visiting hospitals to see patients.

I have come across Gretta Rashid, Sylvia Khan and Leena Abdulla, who have married Muslims, and they said, since their fathers were drunkards and they did not get any Catholic boy who does not drink. Also, I have come across many Hindu unmarried women who were living with married men, they said since they were poor, they could not give dowry and they did not get any boy who would marry them without dowry. They said they too are wanting to keep themselves warm in the night.

Prashant Kunder and married people like him, who flirt with spinsters....should be made to wear 'Kempu Mani Sara' ....so everybody know they are married....

Cynthi has gone a step further....she wants if these crooks try to remove this 'Kempu Mani Sara' to flirt with spinsters ...automatic notification should go to guys wife through 5G Mobile ....so she will be ready with AAP symbol / Broom when he goes back home!!!....

Precaution / Prevention is better than cure people...

While respecting your comments, they are totally biased in favor of women as if you don't know or are feigning ignorance!

The words spinster & bachelor carry no weight in today's times as majority would've already had multiple partners by the time they tie the marital knot!

Average age of losing virginity has dropped down to mid teens!

Do not make a fool of yourself by your unilateral posts favoring the fairer sex for whatever reason!

Sorry to say..but sometimes girls and women, even after knowing that a person is married, pursue the relationship inspite of repeated requests from the man. I think this is the same case.

Really sad that young girl gave up her life.

Sir the article says, "It is said that Rakshita was not aware that Prashant was already married".
By this statement who should have been away from Girl. It is Prashant, Right?. He took the advantage on girl and started live-in- relationship with her. Now he is trying to escape from the Law.

CDS mangalore, you are soo right. Now girl cant defend herself ,he can tell stories s he wants. As I already once mentioned ,from where come this red clot marking on her neck? When someone catch hold of neck and constrict ,sudden blood supply was cut and clot forms .And can see the blood in eyes.He must have felt pressure from her too much .who knows she was too pregnent?his last option is end this by simply by trying to kill her.when taking his own words ,she died by hanging, how he took her to hospital and where was he´?
