SIS logs 42% growth in Q2 consolidated net profit


New Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS): Security and Intelligence Services (India) Ltd on Thursday reported a 41.9 per cent growth in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September at Rs 108.08 crore.

During the corresponding period of the last financial year (FY20), the company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 76.16 crore.

Its revenue from operations for the period under review stood at Rs 2,157.85 crore, 3.3 per cent higher on a year-on-year basis.

For the first half of the current financial year (FY21), the company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 4,325 cr, 5.6 per cent YoY growth.

Group Managing Director Rituraj Kishore Sinha said: "Our H1 results are a testimony that essential services like ours have been least impacted during the Covid crisis and are amongst the first to recover. Our H1 revenues of Rs 4,325 cr is a 5.6 per cent increase YoY. With September revenues at Rs739 cr compared to March 2020 revenues of Rs720 cr, we are already well into recovery phase."
