Mangaluru Oct 29: BJP's state special executive committee meeting is all set to be held in the city on November 5.

After Nalin Kumar Kateel was appointed as the BJP state president, for the first time, Dakshina Kannada (DK) district is hosting the special executive meeting in Mangaluru which is also the hometown of Nalin.

Leaders of various morchas, presidents, general secretaries, party convenors, co-convenors, heads of various cells, core committee members, and regional organising secretaries will be invited for the executive meeting.

After Nalin became the president of state BJP, the executive meetings were conducted in other districts. This made way for other party leaders to take part in executive meetings in other districts as well. This would be an experience for the leaders who have assumed responsibilities in the party, contributing for the upliftment of the party.

The meeting will be inaugurated on November 5. Meetings will be held in the morning and in the afternoon.

During the meeting, two resolutions are expected to be adopted related to the state and nation. Meanwhile, opinions will be sought from the leaders on organisation management. As BJP is in power, discussions will be held on the development works and future plans of the party in the state.

Focus will be on panchayat elections which are inching closer. Strategies will be planned during the meeting.
