Heavy rains likely on Monday in 16 districts including DK, Udupi - Yellow alert declared

Bengaluru, Oct 26: The meteorological department has given a forecast of heavy rains in 16 districts of the state including the coastal districts.

According to the officials of the department, the possibility of heavy rain is there in Bengaluru, Tumkuru, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga and coastal districts of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada.

The meteorological department has announced caution with yellow alert. On Tuesday and Wednesday dry weather will prevail in the northern interior part of the state. Southern interior parts are likely to receive rains on Monday. A yellow alert is declared in Haveri and Gadag districts also.
