Udupi: Teachers eligibility tests – Prohibitory orders passed

Udupi, Sep 30: As teacher’s eligibility tests are scheduled on October 4, the deputy commissioner, G Jagadeesha has ordered for prohibitory orders on October 4 under section 144 in the vicinity of seven centres in the district where the tests will be held.

The orders are imposed in order to prevent irregularities and malpractices in and around the centres. Xerox shops are ordered to remain closed and an area of 200 metre around the centres is declared as a prohibited area.

The orders will be in force from 8 am and 6 pm on the day of the examinations.
