Udupi: UUDA honours civic workers of Moodusagri ward for their contribution to society

Udupi, Sep 24: Udupi Urban Development Authority president Raghavendra Kini on the occasion of Civic Workers Day honoured civic workers of Moodusagri ward of Udupi municipality at his residence.

Over eight civic workers working in Moodusagri ward were honoured on the day. Speaking on the occasion Raghavendra Kini said, "Civic workers are the real brand ambassadors of cleanliness. Due to their relentless efforts, Udupi has been recognized for its cleanliness at the national level. Banning of carrying sewage by manual mode was a revolutionary move by Dr V S Acharya led-Udupi municipality. It is the responsibility of the society to take care of civic workers" he said.



Bharathi Prashanth, municipality member Moodusagri ward Dinesh Amin, general secretary Udupi urban BJP Kishore Kumar Karamballi, Suma Naik Perampally, members Udupi Urban Development Authority Prashanth Bhat, K Chandrakanth, Bhaktha Manish Jattanna, Prashanth Amin and others were present on the occasion.
