Mangaluru: Srinivas University organizes orientation programme for UG students

Mangaluru, Sep 21: Srinivas University, city campus, Pandeshwar organized an orientation programme for the undergraduate students of 2020-21 academic year at its gallery hall. Students and parents attended the programme via Cisco WebEx meeting app and YouTube live streaming.

The programme was inaugurated by CA, A Raghavendra Rao - chancellor of Srinivas University. He motivated the students by asking them to involve in all the co-curriculum activities. He said they are growing step by step. At the same time, students who educate in their university should grow and shine in society.

Dr A Srinivas Rao- pro-chancellor of Srinivas University took the vows for the students. He then said that the syllabus set is purely based on industrial demand. A student can adjust to any industry soon after he receives his degree from their university, which gives them a practical knowledge for industrial oriented programmes.



Dr P S Aithal- vice-chancellor, explained the core values of Srinivas University. He said that Srinivas University is well planned and offers education required for the 21st century. The university offers courses to the under graduate and post graduate students, where they can be exposed to industry-based experience during their course.
On the occasion, students shared their opinion about Srinivas University.

Dr (Lt Cdr) P K Suresh Kumar controller of examination, deans, course coordinators, teaching and non-teaching staff, senior students of colleges of City Campus, affiliated to Srinivas University were present during the programme.

Dr Anil Kumar - registrar welcomed the gathering and Dr Jayashree K– dean of the College of Education proposed the vote of thanks. Professor Panchajanyeshwary hosted the event.
