Mangaluru: ‘Opposition parties favouring cheating middlemen are against farmer-friendly Act’ - Nalin

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Sep 21: President of state BJP and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel accused the opposition parties that they are opposing farmer-friendly act as they patronize middlemen, who used to cheat farmers.

In a series of tweets on this subject, Nalin wrote, "For the first time in Independent India, farmers can sell their produce for good rate, without the menace of middlemen, in any part of the country. Minimum support price will continue and the farmers can get the price they want for their produce by entering into direct agreement with food producing industries.

"Entrepreneurs, who buy the crop, have to provide the required machinery to the farmers. They need to give the farmers suitable advice. In addition, they have to bear total or partial loss, in case the crop gets lost.

"The union government has brought this farmer-friendly act in order to protect the farmers from selling their produce at places other than APMCs also. However, the opposition parties, who are pro-middlemen and buyers, are opposing this act,” tweeted Nalin.

According to an activist doctor from Maharashtra-
It takes away freedom of farmers,
They can hoard any produce without limit, thereby creating artificial shortage & raising the prices to profit big.
Land can be grabbed by them to produce Genetically Modified poison containing seeds thereby killing local seeds farmers had saved from many generations. Due to this there will be more cancer cases benefiting the hospitals & big pharma companies.
Demonetisation broke the back of people & farmers alike, GST & lock downs have hastened the death or suicide of more farmers,
There will be no Minimum Support Price, No Subsidy, no protection from predatory policy of FD Investors, their lands will be acquired by big shots who can control the food, if anybody can control the food then they can control the whole population & countries too.
Income Tax will be imposed on agriculture which wasn't there till now.
Finally Bill Gates had a meeting with our Agriculture Ministry last year end while media was targeting Deepika Padukone for standing silently at a protest while all these measures were discussed & now implemented once he introduced all rules & regulation now implemented through the Pandemic he sponsored in the first place, he will benefit now through vaccines too.
Are we letting ourselves getting colonized again through covert means by a proponent of Depopulation Agenda?

Nalinanna- We have lot of experiences of this govt big announcements. Actually only the people suffered and there is no one to answer for their failures. BJP govt's every big decisions have a hidden agenda to spoil the wellness of poor and middle class income people. They are trying to give benefits to big business houses and corporates. BJP knows poor and uneducated citizens easy to control and Govern. But what to say our own elected representative telling lies to his voters and without any explanations. Their argument is blaming opposition and spreading lies

In India, there is an open secret, that agricultural growers, poultry farmers even fishermen, get a pittance for their hard labor, which is barely less then 1/4 of the actual end user market prices !!! Powerful, influential, middlemen (Dallal) lay seize to the local wholesale and APMC markets !!! They stock, hoard, create a deliberste scarcity and then make a massive profit in the retail industry. This chain of organised trading, if busted or curtailed, would certainly bring down prices and give relief to countless citizens, from the escalating back breaking inflation, in our nation !!!

This government enforcing privatisation in all sectors, Only people with big balance finds the usefulness of this.
Government will loose control over this sectors, so that nation all run by people like Ambani.
I would like give example of privatisation in railway. After only 6 month of this rule, now railway fare also can decide by other people.
Feel like Day by day we are going towards 1500-1600 , where British concept of free trade.

Nalin talks through his hat. Obviously he has no experience of selling perishable agri-produce like fruits and vegetables (also paddy/wheat/dal). How will a small farmer sell directly to food processing industry unless he forms a cluster? co-operatives might be a likely answer but should the Govt not make the effort to explain practical (not theoretical) possibilities? The middlemen will likely tighten their grip even further and dictate prices. Even for an educated and net-savvy chap like me, selling perishables at a reasonable price out of a 9 acre farm was an uphill task - so what about an average farmer with a small landholding? I got so fed up that I sold my farm and decided that I am financially much better off in the stock market.

As I have said before, India's Federal structure, agreed at the time of Independence, ensured all farms-related matters remained a states subject...

...the Centre had nothing to do with farms.

But now the Centre is taking over all state matters.

Farmers will be ruled by Delhi-based Bihari and Mallu babus.

This MP possibly does not understand the Federal structure in the Constitution.

People will understand or not i don't know But how this uneducated anguta chap Bhakth ?

Passing the bill not in favor of Farmers, this is friendly with only Reliance SMART.

When middle man was their he will purchase store and sell, he never thinks requirement is their or not, he set the price ( some times it is not going to happen because of over production ) But now first 10 day Government will give price list then farmers will sell their product before that they should register their and bank details to Reliance, they will put money to their account. when and how to be confirmed , Once fly's attracted the sweet game will change Reliance will fix the rate, if he wants he will purchase or say come tomorrow.
In 2013 70% BJP committee against Modi including sushma, Advani, Arun, he made blunder and showed 30,00,000 followers follows me that is the reason i am PM candidate. financially these Adani Ambani helped him now he returns to them.

Mr Nalin Please explain how this bill going to work , Modi sold the farmers right

    Money makes money.
This will benefit investors and they earn money without any hardship. The long run fact small traders has to close down their business and small farmers will suffer due to minimum support price will be much lower than the cost of product.

Celebrate the booting out Sangam, celebrate. You have four more years to loot what you told Indians that 'THEY' looted, but you never found. By 2024 India will be total bankrupt without keeping any money in the Swiss Bank.

By then even the farmers will not have the strength to shoulder the economy as they did, when our production sunk to -23%. Because, the corporates who Modi/Nalin think will help the farmers in production will keep them indebted. I'll tell you how. A corporate will grant funds to grow a specific crop, obviously commercial like cotton or sugarcane and then take the entire crop and vanish. Saying, the farmer is paid in advance. For a next crop, no farmer, but his mortal remains will be available.

Stupid people with exposure to selling only tea, are enacting bills without discussing them with actual people who will sustain it.

    Good luck India, towards bankruptcy.

Sangram- Do you think Modi Govt relected because of their development work? It is simply due to religious Polarization. May be they will win in 2024, but please understand that it will be defeat of democracy. Playing religion card because of Govt incompetency
