Mumbai, Sep 19: Sardar Tara Singh, former BJP MLA in the state died here in the morning hours of Saturday September 19. He was 81 and died of prolonged illness, a senior BJP leader reported.
Former BJP MP, Kirit Somaiya told PTI that the former MLA breathed his last in a private hospital.
“He had been in the hospital since the last several days and was undergoing treatment for various illnesses,” Somaiya said.
Tara Singh had formerly represented Mulund assembly constituency in Mumbai.
