Babri Masjid plaintiff wants demolition case to be quashed

Ayodhya, Sep 17 (IANS): Babri Masjid plaintiff, Iqbal Ansari, has urged the special CBI court hearing the demolition case, to acquit all accused in the case.

The special CBI court is scheduled to announce its verdict on September 30 and the accused include veterans like L. K. Advani, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Kalyan Singh and Vinay Katiyar.

Ansari told a news channel that the Supreme Court has already given its verdict on the dispute and the process of temple construction has also begun.

"A number of the accused persons in the Babri demolition case are no longer alive and those who are present are very old. I want that the cases should be quashed and the matter should be allowed to end. In any case, after the Supreme Court verdict, there is no dispute left," he said.

Ansari further said that Hindus and Muslims should be allowed to live together in harmony and strengthen the social fabric of the country.

All arguments in the demolition cases are now over and the verdict will be announced on September 30.

To give punishment or not is up to the court I won't comment on that. But they should build one more mosque with the help of donations and their trust and build a new one like ayodhya temple. This can help our MUSLIM and hindu brothers get united again.

The CBI Count doesn't need his suggestion, the judges are aware of their duty. We have seen what is Mr. Ansari's contribution in Babri Masjid case. These kind of people are encouraged to talk in media by the BJP Government.

Those who were accused are just not guilty of demolition of Babri mosque, but also are guilty of demolishing the otherwise long standing trust and harmony between Hindus and Muslims across India. I think they should be punished for the second cause because it can not be repaired atleast in the near future. They have made us and our next generation to live in this society of hatred and fear!!!

I think enough is enough..... let us forget it and move on

Instead, State should start construction of new Babri Masjid like Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi so that it become cultural epicentre and most visited place too and at least for next 3 to 5 years.... so many people will get employment opportunities too
