Ajman: Beans & Cream Café opens new branch ‘Chai & Chaats’ at Thumbay Food Court

Ajman, Sep 15: Popular Dubai-based tea and chaats shop 'Beans & Cream Café' opened its new branch, ‘Chai & Chaats’ at Thumbay Food Court, Thumbay Medicity, Al Jurf, here.

This is the third restaurant to open at the food court, after The Terrace Restaurant - an HACCP-certified Arab-Indian restaurant operated by the hospitality division of Thumbay group and Saravanaa Bhavan - the biggest Indian restaurant chain.

Dr Thumbay Moideen, the founder president of Thumbay Group was the chief guest for the opening ceremony held on September 14, in the presence of Abdul Rahman Behzad - partner of Beans & Cream Café, Akbar Moideen Thumbay - vice president of the healthcare division of Thumbay Group and Farhad C - director of Thumbay group’s hospitality division.

Chai & Chaats boasts of an extensive range of tea as well as Indian chaat specializing in Mangalurean street food – rich in flavour and easy on the stomach - which can be enjoyed in a relaxing ambience. 'Chai & Chaats' focuses on serving fresh and high-quality food at affordable prices,” said Abdul Rahman Behzad, commenting on the new outlet.

Thumbay Food Court, the multi-cuisine food court under Thumbay group’s hospitality division, was inaugurated at Thumbay Medicity, Ajman last year. Offering a unique culinary experience, the food court features vibrant flavours of the Arab world and India, in a splendid ambience complemented by spacious seating and cozy interiors.

The food court is designed in line with the ‘ Live & Learn’ concept, benefiting the students and faculty of Gulf Medical University as well as the visitors and staff of various hospitals within Thumbay Medicity, by facilitating greater social, academic, professional and intellectual interactions to enrich the learning environment.

The food court is beautifully designed with premium lighting and modern architecture, with a total of 250 seats. Top-quality chairs and tables with comfy designs ensure that diners enjoy their meals in absolute comfort. It mainly serves the anticipated 20,000+ floating population of Thumbay Medicity. It also has a meeting/conference hall for gatherings and parties. The food court is located such that it is easily accessible to both from within the hospital as well as from outside, with ample free parking available for vehicles.

Farhad C said that the addition of Chai & Chaats increases the variety of food choices available for customers. Elaborating on the health and safety precautions at Thumbay Food Court, he said, “Apart from our promise of the best quality and tastes, ensuring safe dining environments for our guests is of utmost priority at Thumbay Food Court, and we have taken special measures to ensure the safety of diners and staff, in the light of the pandemic.
