Mangaluru, Aug 15: Independence Day and Feast of Assumption of Mother Mary were celebrated on August 15 at St Lawrence Church Bondel. Fr Maxim DSouza, Professor of St Joseph’s Seminary Jeppu was the main celebrant. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, parish priest, Fr Clifford Pinto, Fr Melvin Pinto (MSIJ) concelebrated the mass.
A short programme was held in the church premises after the mass. Somashekar, assistant director of the tourism department was the chief guest.
