Mangaluru: Reduced rainfall brings relief after gap of several days

Mangaluru, Aug 13: The rain fury considerably came down, and most parts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts reported normal rainfall on Wednesday August 12.

In general, there was sunshine for most part of the day. During the 24-hour period ended Wednesday morning, Agumbe recorded 15 cm rainfall, the highest in the state.

In a prediction valid till Friday morning, the meteorological department said that it expects rain all over the coast, several places in north interior Karnataka and a few places in south interior of the state.
