Kundapur, Aug 10: Sauparnika river is in spate flowing above the danger mark and low lying areas of Navunda and Nada gram panchayat limits are inundated due to heavy rain pounding here since the last four days. Agricultural fields are destroyed.

Byndoor MLA B M Sukumar Shetty, visited the areas today and conducted the inspection. He said that boats will be provided as the water is likely to rise further.
