Mira Bhayander allows hotel rooms, lodges to operate at 33% capacity

Mumbai, Aug 10: Hotel rooms, lodges and guest houses in Mira Bhayander have resumed their business from Saturday. The Mira Bhayander municipality has permitted the establishments to operate at 33 per cent capacity, a report by TOI stated.

However, restaurants in the area are only allowed to offer parcel services.

Meanwhile, local restaurateurs are urging the civic body to allow further relaxation to eateries. A restaurant owner from Mira Road said despite the lockdown, he has been paying salaries to over 80 of his staff. He said restaurants are prepared to function with social distancing norms.
