Kaup: Disappointed at losing job, youth commits suicide

Kaup, Aug 10: Pushparaj (37), who had recently lost his job due to coronavirus-related lockdown, hanged himself at his residence at Padubidri on Saturday, August 8.

Pushparaj, who was unmarried, was working in a software company at Mangaluru. The private software company where he was working for the last 15 years, had recently fired him from his job, it is said. Feeling dejected, he hanged himself in the kitchen of his house at Padubidri after about a month since losing his job.

A case of unnatural death in this respect was registered in Padubidri police station.
