Karkala: Two including driver die as tipper plunges into roadside pool

Karkala, Aug 8: After its driver lost control over a tipper, the vehicle turned turtle and fell into the roadside pool. The accident happened near Palli Ninjoor. Two including the tipper driver lost their lives in this tragedy.

The accident happened on Friday August 7. Tipper driver, Arun Kumar (40), a resident of Kukkundoor Ganitha Nagar, and a 20-year-old cleaner, lost their lives. Name and other details of the cleaner are not yet known. The tipper belongs to a person identified as Sudhakar from Baioor Jarkala. The tippler was transporting a load of mud when the accident happened.

Karkala town police have registered a case and begun investigation.

    No one can educate rough drivers but they themselves should understand the situation and risk of over speeding. Tippers on road are threat to life of others aswell. They fly on roads... really scared to see tippers, lorries, busses from Kundapur to mangalore and these bike riders... God only should save commuters and these drivers.... Hope every driver reads such news and understand that life is important than anything.
