Mangaluru: Ivan corona-positive - District BJP wants Shivakumar to be quarantined

Mangaluru, Aug 7: Dakshina Kannada unit of BJP has urged the health department officials to instruct Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar, to undergo quarantine. The party said that former MLC Ivan D'Souza, had accompanied Shivakumar during his district visit. "Ivan has tested positive for coronavirus. Therefore, everyone who was with Ivan including Shivakumar should be quarantined," the BJP demanded.

In a press statement, BJP district spokesperson, Radhakrishna Mangaluru, said that Shivakumar and district Congress leaders who moved around the whole day without maintaining social distance, are more interested project steps taken by the state government to regulate corona in the state as scandal.

    They are more worried about their corruption status which has been brought out by Congress which led by shivkumar, so they wanted to keep him in quarantine ,so they can save their faces and face the public.
