Bengaluru: 1.87 lac cattle get Aadhar number under INAPH scheme

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Aug 5: Digitalization is stressed by the Bengaluru Rural district animal husbandry and veterinary sciences department under the ambitious project of Information Network for Animal Productivity and Health (INAPH) of the union government. The department has successfully carried out putting earring markings to cows.

Bengaluru animal husbandry and veterinary sciences has clinically carried out the process of putting earrings to the cattle under the INAPH programme. More than 1,87,000 cows have been marked with earrings and given an INAPH number.

Like Aadhar cards for human beings, earrings on the cattle carry a 12-digit DICE number. From this unique number, the details of vaccination, pregnancy and delivery and information of other diseases can be made easily available. The veterinary department has readied an App through digitalization and carrying out this work. All information will be available on time to the owners on their mobile, which will help them to upkeep the health of their cattle.

Because of INAPH numbers, the cattle theft can be reduced and also complete information of the cowherd will be available. This system increases the communication between the cowherds and the veterinarians. All information will be available on the fingertips because of this App.

Aadhar card and PAN cards are only Aadhar to Government to trace property and income of an Individual for taxation on them. I dont think they have come to any kind of Aadhar (financial help) to individuals (except few rupees to farmers).

In different TV channels and different newspapers & magazines, we get hundreds of desperate pleas for help for people suffering from unbearable pain of cancer and other terminal diseases. Some patients get some help from charity of donors and others die without treatment and with excruciating pain. We have nothing to say about govt love for cows. But, please, in the meantime, help our downtrodden terminally sick citizens, and being a civilized country, do not be a cause for such appeals and pleas going outside our country, when with a little humanity, our country can help such people, when we are aiming at 5 trillion dollar economy.

Based on the years of productivity, around 22-23 million animals would ordinarily be out of the farming system.
An estimated 9.74 million bovine animals were slaughtered during 2013-14, data from the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries reveals. The figures can be rounded up to 10 million in order to account for the unreported (unofficial) slaughters that occurred during this period.
    1. If slaughtering is banned, that means the country is looking at an additional 10 million cattle every year, at an approximate total cost of Rs 22,000 crore to care for them. The question, then, boils down to words: “Inko paaley kaun”?

    2. Did government has the census of number of non-productive abandon bovine in 'Gau Shala'?
    3. How many of the bovine has been died in this 'Gau Shala'?
    4. If one non-productive cow cost Rs 60/day/head, who is bearing the cost of keeping the animals? How much tax money has been spent on these?
    5. Is health care system is less priority than the cow protection?
    6. Why the Karnataka BJP government is not drafting Supreme Court directive to stop 'lynching' and 'mobocracy' law?
7 Why the cow protection groups are not coming forward and adopting these unproductive bovine in order reduce financial stress on the state government?
    Jai Hind!

Account of milk she produced, number of calves she delivered, how many male, how many female, which butchery the male ended up, how much profit the owner earned should be recorded. If she is left to graze on dump bins, if she is driven away when not able to bear calf anymore also should be recorded. The owner should be penalised for deserting her in old age.

It doesn't PAY income tax, it only creates income to the owner. If the owner pays tax on the income needs to be investigated.
