Bantwal, Aug 5: While the foundation stone was laid for Ram temple in Ayodhya earlier today, celebrations were also conducted at the Kalladka Sri Rama Mandir. The conch was blown and drums were beaten while the ceremony was watched. It was followed by Bhajans and Maha Mangalarathi.
Veteran RSS leader, member of RSS executive Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat who took leadership during Ayodhya Kar Seva was felicitated. Religious Parishad member Kashekodi Suryanarayan Bhat performed the pooja. Sri Rama Vidhyakendra president B Narayana Somayaji, national Sevika regional head Kamala Prabhakar Bhat, Sri Rama Mandir management committee president R Chennappa Kotian, VHP Vittal leader K Krishnappa, Bhajrangh Vittal president Mithun and members of Sangh Pariwar were present.
