Priyanka slams Yogi over Covid-19 handling in UP

New Delhi, Jul 15 (IANS): Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday slammed the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh over the handling of the novel coronavirus situation in the state, saying the ground reality is completely different from the "propaganda" of the ruling dispensation.

In a tweet, Priyanka Gandhi said, "By looking at the condition of the Covid-19 ward of the medical college of the UP CM's home turf, you will find out how ground reality is different from the false propaganda of the UP government."

"The water is accumulated in the Covid-19 ward. Patients are worried and there is no means to drain the water out." she said in a series of tweets.

The Congress general secretary in-charge of UP also attached a video of the ward with drainage water.

In her next tweet she said, "Today, there was also the news of not sending an ambulance for 16 hours to take the dead body of a Covid-19-infected patient from Gorakhpur."

Priyanka Gandhi has been critical of the state government in the recent days over several issues.
