Kundapur, Jul 13: After one person in SDPO Kundapur tested positive for the coronavirus, the police station on the Kundapur LIC road was ordered to sealed down for two days for sanitisation purposes.

The infected man has been under home quarantine since July 2 because he had displayed slight fever back then.

Meanwhile, all the other staff have also been placed under home Quarantine. An ASI from Kundapur Traffic station who was on highway patrol duty along with his driver (from District Armed Reserve) also tested positive. The two have already been in quarantine since July 5.

However, this will not stall anything and the traffic station will continue functioning as usual. Meanwhile, the ASP office work will be shifted to CPI Kundapur office and the DSP Udupi assume charge of the subdivision until then.
