Man marries two brides in first of a kind wedding in MP

By Sandip Pauranik

Betul (Madhya Pradesh), Jul 9 (IANS): In what could be a first of its kind wedding, a man in Madhya Pradesh married two women at the same time in the same 'mandap' in presence of villagers and family members with all the rituals and formalities.

Sandeep Uike, a resident of Madhya Pradesh's Betul, solemnised the marriage with two women at a ceremony in Keria village under Ghodadongri block, about 40 km from Betul district headquarters on July 8. The district administration is now investigating how this could happen.

According to information, Uike, a tribal youth of Keria village, is now married to two women -- one from Hoshangabad district and another from Koyalari village of Ghodadongri block. Uike came in contact with the woman from Hoshangabad when he was studying in Bhopal. As the courtship was going on, his family decided to marry him to a girl of their choice from Koyalari village. This led to a dispute and to resolve this a meeting of the Panchayat was convened by the three families.

It was decided that if both women are ready to live together with Uike, then both of them should be married to him. The girls agreed to this.

The wedding ceremony was held in Keria village, where the young man solemnised the marriage with both the brides, taking seven rounds of the sacred fire. Those who attended the ceremony included the village folk along with the families of bridegroom and both the brides.

This was the first time that a bridegroom took vows to spend his life with two wives. All the formalities of the marriage along with rituals were performed.

Mishrilal Parate, vice-president of Janpad Panchayat Ghodadongri and a witness to the marriage, said that the three families had no objection and themselves decided to go ahead with the marriage.

Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, it is necessary to take permission from the administration to organise any kind of function. However, Ghodadongri Tehsildar Monika Vishwakarma said no such permission for marriage was sought nor was any given. She said she is sending an official to investigate the matter.

POLYGAMY , its ADVANTAGES and #feminist outrage

    * POLYGAMY carries privileges for both men and women . Men can have many wives with different life skills contributing towards betterment of family , on other side under privileged women , eg widowed , differently abled can also find prospective partners .

    * Cases where husband is significantly older than wife , say age gap of 30 plus years , its a eventuality that upon old age or demise of husband , wife will still be in middle age , so having sister wife helps in taking care of things or if gets worse .

    * Women have this psychosis , they hate other women when they come at their equal pedestrial . Not that m anticipating clashes inside polygamy , but when things get worse wives do compete each other to keep their husband happy . This is very true having seen in many cases , wife is more nagging in monogamous marriages . Having said this , in harmonious and peaceful cases more than one wife always works better as family

    * Now we must understand its not a compulsion or the norm , its just related to a particular situation . A wise man with many wives is better than man having affairs ( past or present ) or girlfriends or broken relationships , hiding it 24*7 .

Now the question immediately put by feminist and soysboys , why men only have such privilege , why not women ?! , we must understand leniage chromosome Y is unique to males , and in polyandry its impossible to assert who is the father.

Talking about 22 st century , many feminists , and so called progressive men who are ok with pre marital sex , late marriages , extra marital affairs , homo asexuality , lesbianism , polymorous affairs , but get triggered at POLYGAMY ( must respected system socially and legally giving emphasis to family coexistence ) . So , why this frowning ?! , we must understand feminists hate when men call the shots or when men are at the privilege side . This can be utmost reason for this hate , so anything which challenges their superiority is always demonized ,by labelling it as oppressive .

POLYGAMY existed since dawn of civilization , carved by men with their immnese contribution to mankind need not to pay heed to such propaganda .

If the 3 parties have agreed, then law agency need not bar them. There is nothing wrong with all the 3 involved parties.

Langooji,USA,hope his honeymoon will not end in black moon since two wives to satisfy first day or later not everyones ability. Even ladys agreed first ,later may end in mypusudi compitition .Atleast parents should have realized the thats not a good idea. Now his turn to standby.Afterall many muslim brothers marry even three or four. There too exist the nonsatisfaction. When he has good job and money ,to feed children and wives ,ok.
