Kundapur: Man slips into stream, goes missing

Kundapur, Jul 9: Vittal Golla (42) from Kantagadde in Hosangady village in the taluk went missing after slipping and accidentally falling into a stream located by the side of his house. This incident happened on Wednesday, July 8 afternoon.

Golla happens to be a coolie by profession. He lives at Kantagadde, Hosangady, along with his wife, two children, and mother-in-law.

Fire brigade personnel who reached the spot sometime later searched for Golla till the evening but to no avail. Kundapur tahsildar Anandappa, Vandse revenue inspector Raghavendra, zilla panchayat member Rohith Kumar Shetty, village accountant Chandrashekhar Murty and others visited the family.
