Chikkamagaluru: Minister R Ashok breaches night curfew, arranges birthday party

Daijiworld Media Network - Chikkamagaluru (SP)

Chikkamagaluru, Jul 2: Karnataka revenue minister R Ashok, celebrated his birthday on Wednesday July 1 in style. He arranged a party in violation of the night curfew imposed by his own government.

The birthday party was held in a private hotel located near Kaimara here. People are now raising pointed questions to the minister who had said in the past that infection proliferates because of night parties.

Ashok had arranged for a dinner party of ministers on his birthday. Ministers including Jagadish Shettar, C T Ravi and Sathish Reddy reportedly took part in the party.

The people want to know from the minister whether coming together for dinner is necessary by violating the night curfew order. They are questioning the preferential treatment given to politicians as against common people by the concerned. They also want to know how far the people who frame the rules are right in breaking them with impunity.

This is happening coz we have been electing parties & not individuals. If we had been more responsible by sending good candidates irrespective of party line we could have had some Visionaries & Law Abiding, working there for a better society instead of celebrating birthdays in these tough times. Some Good Leaders are there in every party or Independents, they should be elected & given responsibility.

Hope we Indians learn from our mistakes !!!

Rules, Regulations only got common man. Not for Minister's. If common man break rules, they will file Criminal Charges. Minister's can have Birthday Parties and Marriage Parties.

Bajpards partying, enjoying, breaking law & order etc is absolutely fine. No action can be taken. Forget taking action, even if you raise questions, your entire family will be mocked and cornered !

Action will be taken against only people, who are not associated with BJP !!!

The BJP Karnataka Home Minister Bommai told reporters in Bengaluru on Monday that FIRs would be registered against senior Congress leaders who violated the lockdown to protest 'fuel prices' and for not maintaining social distance norms.

    1. Is the same law of the land is applicable to the Karnataka revenue minister R Ashok that was suppose to charged on Congress?
    2. These Birthday are western culture, from when did this RSS political wing BJP became part of Indian culture?
    3. Is this celebration worth at the time of nation mourning the death of 20 martyr soldiers and more than 17,000 lives in pandemic?
    4. How does these BJP ministers have spare time for celebrations and parties and have no time for migrant workers struggling to reach on foot without food, water, medicine and even pair of slippers?
