UPA PM never met CMs, Modi held 6 meetings amid corona crisis: Nadda

New Delhi, Jun 23 (IANS): BJP national President JP Nadda on Tuesday said that during the earlier UPA rule, the then PM (Manmohan Singh) never met with Chief Ministers or held meetings with them but present Prime Minister Narendra Modi had held six meetings with the political heads of the states and taken suggestions amid the coronavirus crisis.

Addressing an election rally in Assam through videoconference, Nadda said that the Rs 20 lakh crore ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat' package announced by Modi held the potential to change the face and destiny of India.

He said that the reforms-oriented package had allocated funds for the MSMEs, agriculture and other sectors and advocated ‘vocal for local'.

The BJP chief said that Modi took along various states as well as people in the nation's fight against the coronavirus crisis.

Listing out the central government's achievements in its fight against coronavirus, Nadda said that there was no dedicated hospital to treat corona patients when the nationwide lockdown was imposed on March 24-25 midnight.

Now there were 1,000 such hospitals, 2 lakh dedicated beds, and 21,000 ventilators, he said. Nadda said that 60,000 ventilators were set to be added in this very month.

"When the lockdown was imposed there was no manufacturing of Personal Protection Equipment. Now, the country is manufacturing 4.5 lakh PPE every day."

Nadda said that Modi had done in six years the works that had been lingering for the past six decades, adding that the government's first year in its second stint was full of achievements.

The BJP chief said that he was happy that the party had digitally connected to the voters amid the pandemic, adding that the party had held a total of 36 virtual rallies, including the instant one in which 30 lakh people were reached.

He also praised Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal on the distribution of free ration to the beneficiaries amid the coronavirus crisis.

This ignorant and shameless NADDA man doesn't know how many meetings Dr Manmohan Singh addressed with CMs during NIC meetings, Planning Commission discussions, the number of Press conferences he faced, the number of meetings he had with the CMs when he visited the States, etc. The pathetic answers given by the Ministers of the GOI on the economy, defence etc., are a mute testimony to their incompetence to hold the position.

Nadda is blowing the trumptes of Modi and Co. Modi has not addressed even one press conference as he prefers hiding behind tele prompters and TV screens. Manmohan Singh had no hesitation to address press conferences.

Nadda Ji tell Modi to address one press conference and he will get exposed as a hollow PM unlike Man Mohan Singh who is EDUCATED.

The virtual meeting sitting inside air-conditioned office with printed script and one way communication is not called one-to-one meeting. Leadership quality should be the one who stands with 'Janata' in their difficult time.
No other elected leader in the history of India has visited China more than Prime Minister Modi. There are so far 18 meetings between both leaders but our border dispute is never ever discussed. Now even Chinese media and countries defense expert praised Modi for his 'no incursion' comment and mocks India for surrendering to China.

Let BJP national President JP Nadda list how many press conference PM Modi has hosted since he has come to power in neutral avenue invited by unbiased national and International journalism and replied to every question truthfully on his own government policies.

Our former PM Manmohan Singh has rightly said "Hazaaron Jawabon Se Acchi Hai Meri Khamoshi, Na Jaane Kitne Sawaalon Ki Aabru Rakhe." Today when he broke his silence and asked question on 'note ban', 'Demonetisation' and 'China incursion' the BJP's Scars Only Getting More Visible With Time.
The meetings are worthless unless it is result oriented.

Nada Saab, it wasn't a meeting rather it was a hearing session. No questions were allowed to ask in these so called 6 meetings only one way message from Telprompter Modi. Those who wanted to ask questions were not invited. Even if Modi holds 6 millions such meetings country's condition won't improve a bit like corona virus, economy, GDP, unemployment, foreign policy, terrorism, border security etc. During congress era there was a constant to and from communication at any time at any level not such fake meetings counting numbers only with zero result latest being - 3% result.

MMS know how to run the country. from 2004 to 2013 India had a highest development in all sector. We missed a chance to beat China in development due to demonetization. Even PM Modis time 2013 to 2015 GDP was not that bad it started to decline after demonetization.

Even if Modi meets his own picked and chosen BJP ruled state's CMs 6 million times country's condition will not change a bit be it corona virus, economy, GDP, unemployment, foriegn policy, border threats, terrorism etc. This is going to be the result of meeting CMs more than congress times while during congress rule there was constant to and fro communication between all officials not just counting number of fake meetings.
