Mangaluru, Jun 6: Mosques will be open for prayers in the district from June 8. Dakshina Kannada district Khazi P M Ibrahim Musliyar has announced several guidelines to be followed while offering prayers in mosques.

“People with cold and cough are denied entry. Those who visit the mosque should wash hands with soap before their entry. Maintaining social distance during Namaz is mandatory. The mat necessary for Namaz should be brought from home while coming.

 

Only locals are allowed to pray at their respective mosques. The mosques should be opened only during prayers,” states the press release from the Khazi.
