In reputed government hospital like AIIMS hospital 46 years old nurse died complaining that medical staff are forced to use PPE. In Kashmir Doctors are warn not to speak to media about the facilities available in the state.
As far as number of cases though India is never reached top five in Olympic medal tally now going to achieve topper in 'Covid-19' cases.
To date government is not set up 'Disaster Management committee' and now of the victims has been paid the compensation according to the law.
The recovery rate ratio only counts when the incoming cases are less. It is too early to celebrate. The affect of pandemic will only taken in to consideration when the total blockade lifted across India.

Right now India's testing rate is 1 test for every 305 persons where as countries like Bhutan (1 for 41), Uzbekistan (1 for 45), Palestine (1 for 113) Thailand 1 for 166) Brazil 1 for 212) Sri Lanka (1 for 289) which we take for granted doing better than India.
But there is good news for Bhakths and CowSwamy as well. We are ahead of Pakistan (1 for 334) Bangla Desh (1 for 428) Uganda (1 for 460) and Kenya (1 for 590) Source: worldometers
It is not secret anymore than starting from Gujarat (hide the effect of Trump visit) almost all states cover up their numbers, in Gujarat, the judge who asked for transparency is transferred, yet Gujarat has highest cases and death per population in India. people died with co-morbidity are not included, the people who committed suicide after infecting not counted, migrants died not counted.
More over as per worldometers, there are 8944 critical Covid cases in India.
People compare to Italy and say we are doing good but Italy caught up with virus without any knowledge. Many of those dies in Italy were residing in age care facility or retirement village.
Society is different there unlike India where elderly people live together with family and taken care.
We knew what this virus can do and we had the first Covid death on the 30th of January but what we did till March 24th?, buying MLAs and welcoming Trump.
Health ministry is also trying to fool citizens by showing the recovery rate ( comparing to those only doing bad rather good like Australia or NZ) They also say that the new cases are declining and they can not test million population.

How can one come to a recovery rate while much of them are still under treatment ?

The Ministry should instead highlight the fatality rate. India's fatality rate is less than 3%

Please don't discourage the masses, instill hopes than helplessness. We are doing much better that nations that have/had highest numbers of Covid-19 cases.

Once we reach the peak, the recovery rate tends to increase on daily basis.
The data shows the number of recovered patients to that of the total infected. It reads, 48.20% recovered, less than 3% have succumbed to the disease and rest are in treatment.
In any case, considering our population density, we are much better than the rest of the world.

Health ministry, there is no use saying 48.2% recover, 50% etc everyday until next 2-3 months... and while keeping lacs of active cases forever.

Decide whether you want to finish this out or not?
Just draw a elaborate plan to make 100% recovery and bring back ache din
