Mangaluru, Jun 3: The state government, through an order dated Wednesday June 3, appointed BJP leader Ravishankar Mijar, as the chairman of Mangalore Urban Development Authority (MUDA).
Ravishankar Mijar was serving as the BJP district vice president.
The order is issued by C S Shivakumaraswamy, government secretary, development authority, department of Urban Authority. Ravishanker Mijar has been appointed as chairman with immediate effect.
He will continue to be the president for next three years or till further orders whichever is earlier, said the order.
