Sirsi, May 24: People are trying their best to safeguard themselves from the deadly coronavirus pandemic. In such an act, a father-son duo drank herbal medicine (Kasaraka Chakke) which turned poisonous. While the son died, father is fighting for his life.
This incident took place in Ramanabail of Sirsi. Both father and son were having some breathing issues and cough since some days. The father listened to someone's advice that they should drink herbal medicine in order to get rid of the cough and breathing problem which is suspected to be symptoms of coronavirus.

Francis Rego (42) is the deceased person. His father Neklam Anthony (70) is in a critical condition. They brought some root from a tree in order to prepare the herbal drink.
A case in this regard is registered at Sirsi police station.
