Chitradurga: Former MLA violates lockdown rules during son's wedding

Chitradurga, Apr 30: A former MLA did not follow any lockdown rules during his son's wedding ceremony.

Former Congress MLA B G Govindappa of Hosadurga taluk is the person who conducted his son's marriage without seeking district administration's permission.

Even the taluk and district administrations have not questioned the violation.

Many people took part in the wedding ceremony that took place in Balaguru village of Hosadurga. None of the attendees wore mask and social distance was not maintained in the programme. Former MP B N Chandrappa and sitting MLA of Challakere Raghumurthy also took part. The photos of the marriage were shared by B N Chandrappa on social media.
