"She had hypotension and died after cardiac arrest. She was at Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences, a Covid hospital since Saturday. She was confirmed positive on Monday," said Kumar.

Karnataka situation is better compared to maharashtra , Tamil nadu etc.
Lockdown worked in karnataka but not in other states.

But we cannot celebrate.. if you open airports again same problem.
So that is the reason USA didn't put lockdown.
Even in China , new cases surfacing after removing lockdown.
I don't think there is a point in extending complete lockdown.
Normal life should resume, without crowding etc. Within taluk or district boundaries where there are low cases.

More lockdown may be necessary in future dates to when virus reappears
