Adani Foundation distributes relief kits to 200 migrant families in Kaup taluk

Kaup, Apr 8: UPCL, owned by Adani Group in hands with its CSR wing Adani Foundation, distributed relief kit worth Rs 3.50 lac to the migrated families residing in the vicinity of UPCL plant. Recently Adani Foundation donated Rs 100 crore to Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM-Cares Fund) to combat COVID-19. The Foundation is also extending a helping hand to people in distress.



At Udupi, Adani Foundation distributed relief kit comprising of rice, wheat flour, cooking oil, daal and salt to 200 migrated families residing in the areas of Nandikuru, Yellur, Santuru, Belapu and other places in Kaup taluk. The kits were distributed by Kishore Alva president of Adani Group in presence of Mohammed Isac tahsildar of Kaup taluk, to the families who do not have a ration card and were in distress condition now and were identified by the Office of Tahasildar.

Girish Navada AGM and Ravi R Jere senior manager of Adani UPCL were also present.
