Bengal identifies seven coronavirus hotspots


Kolkata, Apr 7 (IANS): The West Bengal government on Tuesday identified seven areas in the state, including Kolkata, as hotspots of coronavirus infection.

The hotspots denotes areas where the viral infection can take a serious turn.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee showed journalists the digital map which the state government has made as per the directive of the World Health Organisation.

The Union Health Ministry has given the cumulative cases of the disease in the state as 91.
